The response in academia has begun. A good article worth looking at to see what direction things might take in the near future.
Maybe ChatGPT will serve as an intuition pump. But quite a few people would like to see the algorithms and what material was used to train the AI.
The problem with AI is that it tends to over promise and under deliver. We have already experienced two AI Winters and a third would not surprise me.
